- As a bass player, people think that I was always passionate about the bass. Actually, I started by playing the drums. My parents got me a drum set when I was in elementary school, and we set it up in our garage. At that time, some boys in my class were starting a rock band. I wanted to join them, but they already had an excellent drummer. However, they didnʼt have a bass player. Thatʼs why I started bass.
- From that time, I put all of my effort into the bass. In high school, I joined the jazz band. We won many competitions. My club teacher encouraged me to study music in college. All this time, our original rock band from elementary school continued playing and performing together. We released an album, and that was the beginning of my career as a musician. Nobody would guess, though, that I only started bass in order to join an elementary school band.
