•     Hello, everyone. Today I will talk about a hidden potential in Japan for international tourists: sites featured in Japanese anime. Recently, anime has become very popular abroad. Scenes in anime movies are beautifully drawn, and some hold sentimental meaning. While scenes of Japan may be familiar to Japanese viewers, they have a special lure to people abroad.
  •     There are many places that are starting to see tourists because of their usage in anime. The most famous is Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama, seen here in this picture. It is said to be the inspiration for the spa in Spirited Away. Another is the staircase famous from Your Name. It is the place where the two characters meet for the first time. This staircase can be found in Yotsuya, Tokyo. If we promote more locations like these, we will be sure to attract tourists from all around the world.
