- Many people are excited about the possibility of living on Mars. However, I believe that we should not spend our money and research efforts on such a project. Living on Mars would be very unnatural. Humans would have to live in small spaces. Air, water, and food would be limited. To go outside, you would have to wear a space suit. One small mistake, and you could die. And to make a colony on Mars, immense amounts of money would be needed to move all of the people and equipment there. Instead, this money should be spent on saving Earthʼs environment. With it, we could find new energy sources, clean up the oceans, and solve hunger. Rather than escaping to a difficult new world, I believe that we should invest in our own beautiful home.
