• Negative Rebuttal and Summary
  •     We will first address the affirmative sideʼs refutation. The affirmative team claimed that online lessons would be a good chance to learn about socializing on social media. However, students do so now anyway. Meeting together in person for three years is a treasured experience that shouldnʼt be taken away. Also, the affirmative side did not address the fact that many clubs could not continue. Second, regarding unfairness due to internet connections, they claimed that schools would pay for devices. However, we do not know if this will actually happen. It is also unfair if some students donʼt have a quiet place to concentrate on lessons while at home, and schools canʼt fix that.
  •     In conclusion, we believe that attending school every day provides social benefits and guarantees that learning is fair for all students. The affirmative side thinks that online classes would allow students to sleep more, and to take lessons whenever they want to. Rather than being a benefit to students, we think that this will lead to an inactive and unhealthy lifestyle of only communicating through a screen. We urge you to choose the negative team, so that students can lead a healthy life physically, socially, and academically.
