- We believe that high schools in Japan should continue to hold classes in classrooms when possible. We have two reasons. First of all, meeting every day at school gives important social benefits. Itʼs difficult to make friends through online lessons, and many kinds of clubs will not be able to continue online. Second, online classes can be unfair to some students. For example, not all students have good internet connections, and some have older devices. Some students must share devices with other family members. Also, not all students have a quiet place to take classes. Classrooms give all students a chance to hear the teacher clearly. For these reasons, the negative team believes that classrooms should be used for lessons whenever possible.
